What We Do

Comprehensive mental health and rehabilitative services for individuals and families.

Contact Us

At Cahaba Center for Mental Health, we provide a comprehensive range of mental health and intellectual disability services designed to support individuals and families in our community. Our goal is to promote recovery, enhance community integration, and provide the tools necessary for independent living.

Outpatient Services

Available for individuals ages 5 and up, our outpatient services begin with a thorough initial clinical evaluation. This intake process assesses psychological and social functioning, medical conditions, and the individual’s fitness for rehabilitative services.

Depending on the results of the evaluation, services may include:

  • Initial clinical evaluations and medical assessments
  • Individual and family counseling
  • Crisis intervention
  • Medication administration and monitoring
  • Mental health care coordination and case management
  • Basic living skills training
  • Psychoeducational services
